About Your Therapist

A safe space to heal together

Thanks for your interest in my practice. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), I help couples rebuild trust, connection, and intimacy — including couples where trauma or ADHD is impacting their relationship. My approach is warm, direct and is respectful of your process and needs.

Couples counseling works because 1) it increases awareness in areas where emotion creates blind spots 2) it equips us with practical skills for communication and repair 3) it re-prioritizes the relationship 4) it can replace stale patterns with creative connection. In my experience, where each partner is willing to look honestly at their own role, the couple has an extraordinary chance of success.

My approach is grounded in the Gottman Method — a research-based, skills-focused system that gives couples something concrete to work with together. The skills are simple, though not always easy! When strong emotions get in the way of being heard, I teach a framework that helps couples understand what's happening beneath the surface and find their way back to each other.

Outside of the counseling room, I'm a husband and father who loves being outdoors, exploring new places, and sharing good food and drinking coffee. I'm also a longtime meditator, which deeply influences how I approach this work — with calm, curiosity, and respect for the inward journey.

I also see individual clients through Headway, where insurance is accepted. Visit my Headway profile →

Gottman Method

Grounded in over 40 years of research, the Gottman Method helps couples develop deeper friendship, navigate conflict constructively, and build rituals of connection that last.

Trauma-Informed Care

When one or both partners carry trauma, it shapes how we communicate and feel safe. I create space for healing at whatever pace feels right for you both.

ADHD & Relationships

ADHD can create real friction — missed cues, overwhelm, perceived rejection. I help couples understand these dynamics and build strategies that work for both of you.

What I Help With

You're not alone in what you're facing

💬

Communication Breakdown

When every conversation turns into a fight — or silence — I help you find language that connects instead of wounds.

🌿

Trauma in the Relationship

Past wounds — individual or relational — can hijack the present. We work to heal them without re-traumatizing either partner.

🧠

ADHD & Neurodivergence

Understanding how ADHD shows up in your relationship can be transformative. I help both partners feel seen and understood.

🔗

Disconnection & Distance

Living as roommates rather than partners? We rebuild the emotional intimacy that brought you together in the first place.

🌊

Rebuilding After Betrayal

Trust can be rebuilt. I guide couples through the painful but possible process of repairing after infidelity or broken trust.

Transitions & Life Stress

New baby, career change, loss, relocation — big life shifts test any relationship. I help you navigate them together.

Feeling hopeless right now doesn't mean it's over

If you've tried everything and still feel unheard, what you may be missing is a System — one that both partners trust and can rely on together.

A shared system means you're no longer improvising during your hardest moments. It builds confidence. Confidence builds trust. And trust is what makes real vulnerability possible — which is where lasting change actually happens.

What if the thing your relationship needs most is a system? That's something you can learn. Together.
